Yesterday I went to Tanya Burr's book signing for her new baking book.
The waterstones staff were very helpful and kind!
This signing was definitely more organised.

We talked for a little longer this time which was good (although I really don't remember what I said). I'm so glad that we were allowed pictures together this time. I had the burst setting on so I have about five pictures of the same thing so I wish I asked Tanya to change around the poses but hey ho.

Sorry for the quality of some of these pictures, I used my phone and I also had to crop a lot out.

I can't wait to start making and eating some of these tasty treats!

Inspired by Glossier and their latest #glossierpink idea. I thought this would be fun, especially since pink is my favourite colour after black of course.
These are a few of my favourite (pink) things!

How I celebrate pink:
Pink is my happy colour.
I love to wear pink clothing when I want to feel confident.
My favourite time to wear pink toned makeup is spring/summer.
Pink lipsticks are my perfect everyday shade.

Ted Baker brushes (The great and the gorgeous gift set)
Borjois Colourbrand eyeshadow & liner (04 - Rose Fauviste)
Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24HR (65 - Pink Gold)
Kylie liquid lipsticks (Posie & Candy)
Tanya Burr Cosmetics matte lipsticks (Rhubarb & Custard, Puppy Paws & Martha Moo)

Tanya Burr matte lips | Tanya Burr cosmetics

I picked up all three of the matte liquid lipsticks from Tanya Burr's new collection.
Although I don't get on with liquid lipsticks, I really wanted to give these a try.

My thoughts
All of the shades are pigmented, they don't dry out your lips and they last long.

Puppy paws is bright baby pink and it is my least favourite.
I personally wouldn't wear this shade as it's so neon and it doesn't suit me.

Rhubarb & custard is another pink shade but darker and more wearable.
Still a little bright for me but I definitely will wear it.

Martha moo is the perfect nude!
It's my favourite of all three.
(I reccomend this one 100%).

How I deal with breakouts

Since I have bad skin right now, I wanted to share my tips on how I deal with breakouts.

What I use:

Clearasil ultra rapid action pads
(Good for drying out pimples! ONLY USE ON AND AROUND THAT AREA).

(Also good for drying out pimples - only use on pimples).

(I have been using the skincare cream as a treatment & moisturiser)
(Although I have been using coconut oil, I don't think that is the best for
your face so I will be using argan oil instead).

Tips to avoid breakouts:

Do not touch your face
(I have a habit of always touching my face and I
know that it causes breakouts).

Keep your hands clean
(If you can't stop your habit, you may aswell just try to make sure
that your hands are always clean).

Wash your face a few times a day
(I always do this and I definitely think it helps).

Don't cake on makeup
(Try and cleanse your skin and start again).

(My skin starts playing up if I'm slacking).
